In real use, the biggest improvement from a good battery is not top speed; it’s how predictable the plane feels in stabilized/auto-level modes and how consistently it returns the same feel from flight to flight.

Quick Fit & Connector Check (Read This Before You Order)

• Connector matters more than specs. Many Beaver 800mm kits use a “JST-style” main lead on the included 2S pack. Before you order extra packs, compare your airplane’s battery plug shape to the product photos.
• CG matters: This airframe is sensitive to where the battery sits. Most pilots end up pushing the pack forward to keep the nose honest, especially when flying in wind.

1) Light-duty / short-session spare (2S, JST):

Simple Setup Tips That Prevent Beginner Crashes

• Don’t chase auto-level at low airspeed. If the plane gets slow and mushy, add a touch of throttle first. Auto-level can hold a weird attitude if you let it get behind on airspeed.
• Set a conservative low-voltage habit. Small 2S packs can drop fast near the end. Land early and keep packs healthy instead of “one more lap.”
• Buy spare props. This airframe’s prop setup is not a breakaway style, and cold/bad landings can snap blades. Spare props are cheap insurance.
