The Hobbywing QuicRun 0880 Dual Brushed ESC is designed for RC platforms that need one electronic speed controller to power two brushed motors simultaneously. With support for 2S to 4S LiPo power, 540/550/775-size brushed motors and a broad range of 1/10 and 1/8 scale applications, it is particularly useful for dual-motor crawlers, tanks and other high-load brushed RC builds.

One ESC for Two Brushed Motors
The defining feature of the QuicRun 0880 Dual Brushed ESC is its pair of motor outputs. Both brushed motors are driven from one ESC and respond to the same throttle channel, making this layout ideal for vehicles where two motors need to work together.
Important: the two outputs are not independently controlled. Both motors respond to the same throttle command.
60A Brushed Power for 1/10 and 1/8 RC Models
With a rated 60A continuous and 360A peak current, the QuicRun dual brushed ESC is designed for significantly larger brushed power systems than compact 1/16 or 1/18 ESCs. It can be used across a broad range of 1/10 and 1/8 scale RC platforms.

The QuicRun 0880 Dual Brushed supports 2S, 3S and 4S LiPo batteries as well as compatible NiMH packs. The allowable motor load changes with battery voltage, so motor speed and turn count should always be matched to the battery being used.

Dual-motor note: when two motors are connected simultaneously, use a more conservative motor load than you would with a single motor. The combined load of both motors must remain within the capability of the ESC.
Multiple Running Modes
The ESC can be configured for different driving applications instead of being locked into a single forward/reverse behavior. Depending on the model, this allows the throttle and braking behavior to be adapted for conventional vehicles, crawlers, tanks and other brushed RC platforms.
Adjustable Drag Brake and Throttle Response
This is more than a basic dual-motor brushed controller. Adjustable drag brake behavior makes the ESC particularly useful for crawlers, where holding force and the way the vehicle settles when the throttle returns to neutral can have a noticeable effect on control.
The ESC also provides adjustable acceleration and braking parameters, allowing the response to be tuned from softer and easier to control to more aggressive settings depending on the vehicle, gearing and terrain.
5V 3A Switch-Mode BEC
The integrated 5V / 3A switch-mode BEC supplies receiver and servo power directly from the ESC, eliminating the need for a separate receiver battery in many conventional installations.
Always verify the voltage and current requirements of your receiver, steering servo and auxiliary electronics before connecting them.
Waterproof Design for Demanding RC Use
The waterproof and dust-resistant construction allows the QuicRun 0880 Dual Brushed to be used in wet, muddy, dusty and other demanding RC environments.
Waterproof protection should not be interpreted as maintenance-free operation. After running in water, mud or snow, clean and thoroughly dry the ESC, motor connectors and exposed metal hardware to reduce the possibility of corrosion.
Reliable Heat Dissipation for High-Load Brushed Systems
The aluminum heat sink helps transfer heat away from the ESC electronics during sustained load. This is particularly important in heavy vehicles, high-traction conditions and dual-motor configurations where the ESC may spend long periods operating under substantial current.
LED Program Card Support
An independent programming port allows compatible Hobbywing LED programming cards to be connected without disturbing the receiver wiring. This provides a more convenient way to adjust supported ESC parameters than repeatedly changing wiring or transmitter settings.

Is the QuicRun 0880 Dual Brushed Right for Your Build?
Choose this ESC when your project requires a high-current brushed controller with two synchronized motor outputs. It is especially attractive for dual-motor crawler and tank builds where using two separate ESCs would add unnecessary wiring and setup complexity.
