The Hobbywing QUICRUN 10BL60 Sensored G2 is a compact 60A brushless electronic speed controller developed for 2S-powered 1/10 touring cars, buggies and drift cars, as well as selected 1/12 and 1/14 vehicles. Unlike the sensorless WP models in the QuicRun range, this ESC provides true sensored operation when connected to a compatible sensored brushless motor and six-pin sensor cable.
Its programmable Boost and Turbo timing functions provide a wider tuning range than a basic sport ESC, while the selectable 6V/7.4V switch-mode BEC supports both standard-voltage and compatible high-voltage steering servos. It can also operate a sensorless brushless motor, making it suitable for builders who want an affordable entry into sensored on-road, drift or club-racing setups without moving immediately to a premium competition ESC.
Important: the QUICRUN 10BL60 Sensored G2 is not waterproof. Keep it protected from water, wet tracks, mud and conductive debris. It supports 2S LiPo only and is not intended for 3S operation.

Core Description
The QUICRUN 10BL60 Sensored G2 is positioned between a basic sport ESC and a higher-priced competition speed controller. It retains a relatively simple QuicRun setup while adding features usually associated with more advanced on-road and drift systems, including sensored operation, Boost timing, Turbo timing, Turbo delay, adjustable motor rotation and a selectable high-voltage BEC.
For a sensored installation, the ESC’s A, B and C motor wires must connect to the corresponding A, B and C motor terminals. The six-pin sensor cable must then connect the ESC sensor socket to the motor sensor socket. Incorrect phase sequencing in sensored mode may cause abnormal operation or damage.
When used with a sensorless motor, there is no fixed phase-wire sequence. Any two motor wires can be exchanged if the motor rotates in the wrong direction. Motor rotation can also be changed through the programmable Motor Rotation setting when using a correctly wired sensored system.
Why Choose the QUICRUN 10BL60 Sensored G2?
Provides smoother low-speed response and more predictable throttle control with a compatible sensored motor.
Both timing functions can be adjusted up to 24° for additional straight-line speed and full-throttle RPM.
Supports standard-voltage servos or compatible high-voltage steering electronics.
Choose clockwise or counterclockwise rotation without changing phase wiring in a sensored setup.
A 35 × 31mm footprint fits many 1/10, 1/12 and 1/14 chassis layouts.
Tune the ESC using the onboard SET button or a compatible Hobbywing program box.
Sensored and Sensorless Brushless Motor Support
The defining advantage of this model over a sensorless QuicRun ESC is its ability to use motor sensor feedback. In a compatible sensored system, the ESC knows the rotor position during startup and low-speed operation, helping deliver smoother launches, cleaner low-speed modulation and more consistent response.
This is particularly useful in:
- 1/10 touring cars requiring precise corner-exit throttle control
- RC drift cars that need repeatable low-speed wheel-speed management
- Club-racing buggies where smooth initial acceleration improves traction
- Smaller 1/12 and 1/14 vehicles where abrupt throttle response can unsettle the chassis
The ESC also supports sensorless brushless motors. However, a sensorless motor will not gain sensored startup or low-speed feedback simply by being connected to this ESC.
| Setup | Phase-Wire Requirement | Sensor Cable | Motor Direction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sensored Motor | A-to-A, B-to-B and C-to-C | Required | Use the Motor Rotation setting |
| Sensorless Motor | No fixed phase sequence | Not used | Swap any two motor wires |
Recommended Motor and Battery Setup
The official motor recommendation is a standard 3650-size, two-pole brushless motor rated at 8.5T or higher, based on an ESC timing setting of 0°. This recommendation is intended to keep current and thermal load within a reasonable range for the 60A platform.
The QUICRUN 3650 SD G2 is the intended matching motor family, but other correctly specified sensored or sensorless 3650 motors may also be used. Always consider motor turns, gearing, tire diameter, vehicle weight, drivetrain resistance and track conditions together.
Motor-limit warning: Boost and Turbo timing increase motor RPM, current draw and temperature. A motor that remains cool at 0° timing may run significantly hotter after timing is added. Check motor and ESC temperature after every meaningful setup change.
Powerful 6V/7.4V Built-In BEC
The switch-mode BEC supplies 4A continuous output and can be set to either 6V or 7.4V. The supplied product graphic also states a peak output of up to 7A.
For standard-voltage receivers and steering servos.
For compatible high-voltage receivers, servos and accessories only.
Do not choose 7.4V solely because the servo is marketed as powerful or fast. Confirm the maximum operating voltage of every device powered through the receiver. Setting the BEC above a component’s voltage limit may damage the servo, receiver or ESC.
Boost and Turbo Timing up to 24 Degrees
Boost and Turbo timing are separate tuning tools. They should not be treated as two names for the same function.
Boost Timing
Boost timing operates dynamically through the throttle range. It can increase motor speed on both straight sections and flowing corners, depending on throttle input. Available values are 0°, 4°, 8°, 12°, 16°, 20° and 24°.
Turbo Timing
Turbo timing is applied at full throttle and is mainly used to increase top-end motor RPM. Available values are also adjustable from 0° to 24°. Turbo activation can be delayed from instant engagement through several selectable delay values.
| Function | Where It Operates | Main Effect | Main Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Boost Timing | Across the throttle range | Broader speed increase and stronger mid-to-high throttle output | Higher running current and temperature |
| Turbo Timing | At full throttle | Additional top speed and maximum RPM | Rapid heat buildup during long full-throttle runs |
Start at 0° and increase timing gradually. After each adjustment, check ESC temperature, motor temperature, battery temperature and drivetrain behavior. Excessive timing can reduce reliability even when the vehicle initially feels faster.
Motor Rotation Adjustment
The Motor Rotation parameter lets the driver select clockwise or counterclockwise motor operation. This is especially useful in a sensored setup, where the A, B and C phase wires must remain correctly matched.
When viewing the motor shaft from the front, the motor rotates counterclockwise when the ESC is set to CCW. Many vehicles move forward with CCW rotation, but some chassis layouts require clockwise rotation. In that case, change the programmed direction rather than crossing phase wires in sensored mode.

Multiple Programming Methods
The QUICRUN 10BL60 Sensored G2 supports three practical programming routes:
- Onboard SET button: supports throttle calibration, full parameter programming and factory reset.
- LED Program Box: provides faster access to programmable items and values.
- LCD Program Box Pro or LCD G2 Program Box: provides screen-based parameter selection through a wired connection.
The programming box connects to the three-pin programming interface on the switch lead with the system powered off. Connect the cable with the correct polarity, then power on the ESC so the parameter values can be read and changed.
The LCD Program Box Pro is supported as a wired programming device, but Bluetooth tuning, OTA programming and online firmware upgrading are not supported by this ESC.
Protection and LED Status
Reduces and then cuts power when battery voltage falls below the selected threshold.
Limits operation when the ESC reaches an excessive temperature.
Provides a separate warning sequence when supported motor-temperature protection activates.
Stops normal drive output if a valid throttle signal is not detected.
The 60A/200A hardware platform is designed to tolerate short-duration load changes within a correctly matched system.
During normal operation, the red LED shows Boost/Turbo status at neutral, while the green LED indicates forward, brake or reverse operation. A repeating single red flash indicates low-voltage protection; a repeating single green flash indicates ESC thermal protection; and repeating double green flashes indicate motor thermal protection.
Compatible RC Applications
The QUICRUN 10BL60 Sensored G2 is best suited to compact 2S brushless vehicles where throttle precision and programmable timing are more important than waterproof operation or high-voltage battery support.
| Vehicle Type | Why It Fits | Setup Priority |
|---|---|---|
| 1/10 Touring Car | Sensored response, adjustable braking and programmable timing | Smooth throttle and controlled motor temperature |
| 1/10 Drift Car | Precise low-speed control and adjustable Boost/Turbo behavior | Consistent wheel speed and servo-voltage compatibility |
| 1/10 Buggy | Compact 60A system for suitable 2S club and hobby builds | Conservative gearing and effective fan airflow |
| 1/12 or 1/14 Vehicle | Compact footprint and adjustable response | Physical fit, weight and motor-current demand |

These are application examples rather than model-specific fitment approvals. Check chassis space, motor specification, battery voltage and connector layout before installation.
Throttle Calibration
Throttle calibration must be completed during first installation and whenever the transmitter, receiver, throttle endpoints, dual rate or trim settings are changed.
- Switch off the ESC and turn on the transmitter.
- Set throttle travel and endpoints to 100% and throttle trim to neutral.
- Hold the SET button while switching on the ESC.
- Release the SET button as soon as the red LED begins flashing.
- Store neutral, full throttle and full brake positions in sequence by pressing SET at each position.
Remove the pinion gear or keep the driven wheels safely clear of the ground during calibration and programming.
