Quick Fit Check

The CNHL Racing Series 5600mAh 7.4V 2S2P 120C hard case LiPo battery with EC5 plug is a full-length 2S racing battery designed for 1/10 scale RC cars that need strong current delivery, useful runtime and the protection of a rigid hardcase.

Its 139 × 47 × 25mm case follows the common full-length stick-battery format. With 5600mAh capacity, a 120C continuous discharge rating and an approximate weight of 292g, it is well suited to track practice, club racing, recreational driving and longer sessions where runtime and consistent chassis balance are more important than minimizing battery weight.

Before ordering, confirm that the battery tray accepts a 139mm-long hardcase pack, that the EC5 connector matches the vehicle or a physically compatible IC5 power connector, and that the wires can be routed without contacting gears, driveshafts, tires or suspension parts.

Full-Length 2S Hardcase Battery for Runtime and Stability

The CNHL Racing Series 5600mAh battery uses a conventional 139mm full-length hardcase format. This makes it a natural fit for many 1/10 scale RC cars designed around standard stick-style 2S batteries.

Compared with a shorter 4900mAh racing pack, the 5600mAh version adds 700mAh of rated capacity and uses more of the available battery-tray length. The additional mass can help create a planted and predictable chassis feel, while the larger energy reserve supports longer practice sessions and fewer battery changes.

The rigid outer case protects the cells from track debris, chassis contact and routine impacts. The pack must still be retained securely so it cannot slide, lift or strike nearby drivetrain components.

Why Choose This Battery?

5600mAh capacity for longer driving sessions

The 5600mAh capacity provides more runtime potential than common 4000–5000mAh packs. It is useful for practice, setup testing, trail driving and recreational use where reducing the number of battery changes is a priority.

Standard full-length battery format

The 139 × 47 × 25mm dimensions match the general shape used by many 1/10 scale RC battery trays. This can provide more consistent support than using a short battery with large spacers in a full-length tray.

Stable chassis weight distribution

A full-length pack spreads its mass across more of the battery tray. In compatible cars, this can create a settled and predictable chassis feel, particularly during high-speed cornering, rough-track driving and longer practice runs.

120C discharge capability

The 120C continuous and 240C burst ratings, EC5 connector and 10AWG wires support demanding 2S brushless systems. Actual current delivery and temperature depend on motor choice, gearing, ESC settings, tire load, surface grip and driving style.

Extended Practice Runtime for the Losi 22S Dirt Late Model

The CNHL Racing Series 5600mAh 2S 120C hardcase LiPo battery is a strong runtime-focused option for the Losi 22S Dirt Late Model. Its 139mm full-length case fits the vehicle's adjustable battery-tray format, while the 5600mAh capacity provides more running time than smaller 4000–5000mAh packs.

This makes it particularly useful for club practice, chassis setup, tire testing and recreational oval sessions where consistent driving time matters more than achieving the lowest possible vehicle weight.

The EC5 plug is physically compatible with the stock IC5 main power connector, so no adapter is required when the original connector remains installed. This battery supplies normal power but does not provide Spektrum Smart battery data.

5600mAh Full-Length vs. 4900mAh Compact Hardcase

Battery Best For Main Character
5600mAh, 139mm, approx. 292g Longer practice sessions and stable handling More capacity, full-length support and a more planted chassis feel
4900mAh, 96mm, approx. 218g before wires and connector Lower weight and adjustable battery placement Faster response and more fore-and-aft tuning freedom

Choose the 5600mAh pack when runtime and consistent full-length tray support are the priority. Choose the shorter 4900mAh pack when lower weight and battery-position tuning are more important.

The battery can also be used in compatible touring cars, short-course trucks and custom 2S vehicles. Confirm tray fit, body clearance, wire routing, connector type and any class-specific battery rules.

EC5 and IC5 Physical Compatibility

EC5 and IC5 are physically compatible at the main power connection. This battery's EC5 plug can connect to a corresponding IC5 device connector when the orientation and polarity are correct.

This is not a Spektrum Smart battery. It supplies normal positive and negative main power but does not include Smart battery identification, automatic charge settings or battery telemetry.

When used in an IC5-equipped model, normal power operation is available without an adapter, but the charger and vehicle will not receive Smart battery data from this pack.

FAQ

Does this battery fit the Losi 22S Dirt Late Model?

Yes. Its 139mm full-length case can be secured in the vehicle's adjustable battery tray, and the EC5 plug is physically compatible with the stock IC5 main power connector.

Why choose this 5600mAh pack over the 4900mAh version?

The 5600mAh pack provides 700mAh more rated capacity and a full-length case that offers stable support in standard battery trays. It is better suited to longer practice sessions, while the shorter 4900mAh pack prioritizes lower weight and battery-position adjustment.

What does 2S2P mean?

2S2P means the battery uses two cell groups connected in series for 7.4V nominal voltage, with parallel cells inside each group contributing to the total 5600mAh capacity and current capability.

Is this a full-length hardcase battery?

Yes. Its 139mm length places it in the conventional full-length stick-battery format used by many 1/10 scale RC vehicles.

Is EC5 physically compatible with IC5?

Yes. EC5 and IC5 are physically compatible at the main power interface. This battery can supply normal power through an IC5 connector, but it does not provide Spektrum Smart battery data.

Can this battery be used in a crawler?

Yes, when the crawler accepts the 139 × 47 × 25mm case and approximately 292g weight. The 5600mAh capacity can provide long trail runtime, but battery placement should be checked because a full-length pack may affect the vehicle's center of gravity.

Should the battery always be charged at 5C?

No. The 5C specification is the maximum charge rate rather than the required everyday rate. A lower balanced charge rate generally produces less heat and places less stress on the cells.

Notice

  • Only use a compatible LiPo balance charger designed for the correct cell count.
  • Stop charging immediately if any cell exceeds 4.2V.
  • Select LiPo mode, two cells and an appropriate charge current before starting.
