Built for Speedrun RC Applications

The CNHL Innovation RC Extreme Series batteries are built primarily for speedrun RC applications and other extreme high-current setups. This is not a general-purpose battery series for casual everyday use. It is designed for projects where the battery system needs to move serious current cleanly and efficiently under heavy load.

That is why the series uses QS8 connectors, 7AWG wire, and a 120C discharge platform. In serious speedrun use, the pack needs to do more than simply hold energy. It needs to deliver power cleanly, hard, and consistently when the load becomes severe.

Popular Platforms and Build Types

The CNHL Innovation RC Extreme Series is most relevant to the faster, heavier, and more demanding side of RC. It is especially relevant to projects built around the Speed run, Drag race, High-end applications. Cars & platforms such as the Arrma 1/5 & 1/7 scales, Limitless V1/V2/120, Hobao VTE2 2.0, 1/5 Kraton, DBXLE, Kraken Vekta, 70Lb 1/4 scale Rock bouncers etc, and other custom high-speed or single-pass setups.

These are the kinds of builds where battery choice matters far beyond runtime alone. Bigger motors, taller gearing, heavier load, and higher top-speed goals all place more pressure on the power system, which is exactly the kind of environment this series was built for.

Why This Series Is Different

The CNHL Innovation RC Extreme Series is not built around battery numbers alone. It is designed for situations where current delivery, voltage stability under load, connector quality, solder integrity, and overall system efficiency all play a real role in performance.

In extreme RC use, the battery is not just something that fits in the tray. It is part of the performance system. Connector size, wire gauge, ESC capability, gearing, traction, and setup quality all affect how much of the battery’s potential actually reaches the vehicle.

Voltage and Capacity Range

The CNHL Innovation RC Extreme Series batteries currently span from 2S to 6S and from 10500mAh to 12500mAh. That gives users room to build around different voltage targets, chassis layouts, running weight, and speed goals while staying inside the same high-power series philosophy.

This range also makes the series useful across different kinds of serious projects, from lower-cell high-load speedrun setups to larger high-voltage builds where sustained energy delivery and system stability matter just as much as outright speed.

Important Setup Notes

For proper power transfer, CNHL strongly recommends using QS8, 8mm bullets, or larger ESC-side connectors. If the rest of the setup steps down into weaker connector hardware, the full benefit of the battery can be reduced before the power ever reaches the ESC and motor.

For the highest performance, many experienced users cycle the pack 2 to 3 times and warm it to around 105-110°F before a serious run. All solder work must also be solid. In extreme current applications, weak solder joints are not a small detail. They are a real performance and reliability issue.

FAQ

What is the CNHL Innovation RC Extreme Series mainly built for?
This series is built mainly for speedrun RC applications and other extreme high-current projects where power transfer efficiency is critical.

What kinds of RC builds is this series best suited to?
It is most closely associated with Speed run, drag race, High end applications. Cars & platforms such as the Arrma 1/5 & 1/7 scales, Limitless V1/V2/120, Hobao VTE2 2.0, 1/5 Kraton, DBXLE, Kraken Vekta, 70Lb 1/4 scale Rock bouncers etc

Is this a good battery series for everyday bashing?
Usually no. Most casual RC users do not need a battery system built around QS8 connectors, 7AWG wire, and speedrun-level current demand.

Why does connector and solder quality matter so much here?
Because in extreme RC use, the battery can only perform as well as the rest of the electrical path allows. Connector size, solder quality, and overall resistance all affect how much usable power reaches the system.

Why does CNHL mention warming and cycling the battery?
Because experienced users chasing peak output often prepare packs before hard runs to improve consistency and performance. That practice is intended for advanced users only.

What does “Use at your own risk” mean?
It means this battery series is intended for experienced RC users running extreme setups and taking responsibility for safe installation, connector choice, solder quality, and use.
