This CNHL pack uses a relatively long and narrow 78 × 21 × 22mm case. It should not be described as a confirmed drop-in replacement until the physical installation has been tested. Check battery insertion depth, canopy clearance, retention, wire direction and center of gravity before flight.

The Goosky power system is normally operated as a standard 3S setup. Unless the specific ESC and helicopter version are confirmed to support the 13.05V maximum of a fully charged 3S LiHV battery, charge this pack only to the standard 3S limit of 12.60V total, or 4.20V per cell.

The best battery depends on the aircraft, payload, tune and intended flight style. Higher capacity is useful only when the model can carry the added size and weight without compromising handling or cooling.

XT30 Connector Compatibility

This battery includes an XT30 output plug. It connects directly to a corresponding XT30 device-side connector when polarity and orientation are correct.

Models using XT60, EC3, IC3, EC5, IC5, T/Dean, TRX or another connector require an appropriately rated adapter or professional connector conversion.

Keep the power and balance wires clear of propellers, ducts, gears, motor bells, canopy edges and other moving or abrasive parts.

LiHV Charging and Voltage

This battery can be charged to a maximum of 4.35V per cell using a charger with a dedicated 3S LiHV balance-charging mode. A fully charged pack reaches 13.05V.

Full LiHV charging should only be used when the complete aircraft power system supports that voltage. A model described only as “3S compatible” may have been designed around the 12.60V maximum of a standard 3S LiPo battery.

Where full LiHV voltage has not been approved, charge the battery to the standard LiPo limit of 4.20V per cell. This reduces the maximum voltage and available energy but avoids exposing the electronics to an unconfirmed higher input voltage.

The 5C specification is the maximum charge rate. For normal use, a lower balanced charge rate generally creates less heat and places less stress on the cells.
