The CNHL G+Plus 5000mAh 8S battery provides the same basic voltage and capacity configuration as two matched 4S 5000mAh batteries connected in series: 8S 5000mAh.

A dual-4S setup requires two batteries of the same model, capacity, age, condition, internal resistance and charge level, together with a correctly rated series harness. This single 8S pack removes the series connection and keeps the complete power source within one battery assembly.

This can simplify charging records, installation and pre-flight battery management. However, the charger must support an eight-cell LiPo battery, and the model must have enough uninterrupted space for the complete 145mm-long pack.

QS8 Connector and Conversion Notes

This battery is supplied with a QS8 output connector. It cannot be connected directly to EC5, IC5, XT90, XT60, T/Dean, TRX or Traxxas iD power systems.

When the model uses another connector, use a properly rated adapter or professional connector conversion. Confirm connector polarity, continuous current capability, contact condition, cable direction and available clearance before connecting the battery.

Adapters add another electrical connection and may also add wire length and resistance. For high-current EDF, aircraft, car or boat systems, the adapter and its wiring must be appropriate for the actual operating current rather than selected only because the connector ends physically match.
