The CNHL Racing Series LiHV 4900mAh 7.6V 2S 120C shorty hard case LiPo battery with EC3 plug is a well-matched option for modern 1/10 2WD race buggies like the Team Associated RC10B7.1 and RC10B7.1D. Its shorty hard-case format fits the B7.1 battery tray cleanly and supports the fore-and-aft positioning that many racers use as part of their chassis setup.
On the RC10B7.1 platform, battery choice is often about balance and repeatability rather than raw numbers. A 4900mAh LiHV pack sits in a practical middle ground—offering strong punch off the line and consistent voltage through a heat or main, without adding unnecessary weight that can slow rotation or upset the car on low-grip dirt.
The LiHV chemistry gives a slightly sharper initial throttle feel, which many drivers appreciate on higher-bite surfaces or when looking for a more responsive exit from tight corners. At the same time, the hard-case construction provides added protection for off-road racing, and the EC3 connector keeps the installation compact and tidy for typical 2S buggy ESC setups.
For the RC battery, only if the voltage and the plug match, then it will fit.
Please stop charging immediately when the cell voltage has been charged to 4.2V (Normal cell voltage is between 3.7V~4.2V).
To double make sure safe, please check first whether the battery surface is alright when you get it and whether the voltage is normal before using.
If the new battery won’t hold a full charge or loss the charge very quickly in a short time, please use the Balance Charger to charge and recycle several times first.
CNHL LiPo batteries come with a 90-day warranty from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated in the product listing.
This warranty covers original defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover normal wear and tear, puffing, swelling, over-disacharge, over-charge, improper storage, crash or water damage, connector changes, or any damage resulting from misuse or mishandling.
If you find that a battery purchased from us is defective within the 90-day warranty period, please get in touch with us to arrange a return for inspection. Based on our evaluation, we will usually repair, replace, or offer an appropriate solution at no additional charge.

Great batteries, tough, punchy.
These batteries are hands down the best value for money on the market. I have been flying them for about a year, and have abused them, crashed them, smashed them and they are still good. Other more expensive batteries I have used have felt saggy and lost their punch early. These stay punchy even at low voltage. It takes alot to kill them. I will not buy anything else now.
