This digital file is provided for pilots who want to 3D print a small landing scratch plate for the CNHL AviNationRC Horten Ho 229 RC Plane 813mm Twin 35mm EDF PNP. The part is designed to be fitted to the lower nose / chin area of the aircraft to help reduce wear during hand-launch and belly-landing use.
This chin scratch plate is especially useful for pilots who fly the Ho 229 without landing gear installed. It helps protect the contact area during belly landings, while keeping the setup simple and lightweight.
This item is a digital 3D printing file only. You will need your own 3D printer, suitable filament, and glue or adhesive suitable for the printed material and aircraft surface. Final fit, surface finish, and strength may vary depending on printer accuracy, material choice, print orientation, print settings, and installation method.
Before flying, make sure the scratch plate is securely attached and does not interfere with the aircraft’s airflow, battery hatch, receiver area, landing gear setup, or lower fin installation.

This warranty covers original defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover normal wear and tear, puffing, swelling, over-discharge, over-charge, improper storage, crash or water damage, connector changes, or any damage resulting from misuse or mishandling.
If you find that a product purchased from us is defective within the 90-day warranty period, please contact us to arrange a return for inspection. Based on our evaluation, we will usually repair, replace, or offer an appropriate solution at no additional charge.

Finally!
The Horten 229 is one of my biggest fascinations in aviation and this parkflyer-size RC version is a dream come true! Although made of EPO, the quality of the model is very good and it comes with landing gear, battery, and carrying case. It's also good for static display. I haven't flown it yet as I'm waiting for my LiHV charger but I plan on getting a second one just in case.
That model is a masterpiece! From the aerodynamics over the details, light weight construction and the flawless handling qualities and impressive performance, all for a very fair price and in a cool package!

Opening the box was so exciting! The plane is beautiful. Amazingly light weight, but durable.
I am so enthusiastic about this, I will demonstrating mine in my booth in the C building, #3113, at the Oshkosh Air Show the week of July 20, 2026.
I will also be taking orders for them to benefit my charity, Friends of British Aviation Heritage, which is raising money to not only to help attach the wings to the real Horten 229, but to help with restoration of another plane soon to go on display in England.
I ordered 3x 2000mha and 3x 4000mha lipo batteries and a pack of deans to traxxas plug adapters.
Usps was slow on their scans, and shipping as usual. Customer service was able to help sort out the shipping.
My items arrived before the estimated flight delivery date, which was a surprise considering 😆.
Everything works perfect out of the package, except for 1 battery, which I will be contacting customer service about.
Even with the one battery that was bad... I've thoroughly enjoyed the batteries. They proved great run time and power. They haven't got hot, and my son and I run our trucks pretty hard lol 😆.
