What Vertical Fin Damage Feels Like in the Air
If your Bison suddenly needs more rudder correction than you remember—especially during rollout, low-speed turns, or in gusty conditions—the fin may be the hidden culprit.
A straight fin helps the airplane hold heading without fighting you, which matters a lot on STOL-style approaches where you’re slower and closer to the stall margin.
Install Notes (Practical)
Square it up: before final fastening, sight down the fuselage and confirm the fin is centered and vertical.
Rudder neutral: re-center the servo and re-check linkage so the rudder isn’t “pre-loaded” to one side.
First flight after repair: do a calm takeoff, climb out, then trim at a safe altitude before slowing down.

Tested in my Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin, lasted almost 23 minutes until lvc.
Tested this in my Tamiya midnight pumpkin, which has a different 27t motor vs the stock one & it's great nice & punchy all the time until low voltage cutoff was reached on the Hobbywing 1060 esc.
It was picking up the front wheels the entire time, being a 27t motor it ofc sips power still so it lasted almost 23 minutes for me here, granted i didn't go full speed constantly with this but it's a blast running this old truck about.
Mounted the pack in the chassis where the electronics sit on the left side & used a battery strap i had laying around to secure it.

O avião chegou muito bem embalado. Apesar disso tinha algumas marcas dentro da própria caixa, não foi do transporte, mas sim no seu manuseio de fábrica. As instruções não são muito explícitas, no entanto com algum conhecimento de Aeromodelismo foi fácil montar. Tem alguns defeitos de fabrico, mas no geral está bem equipado. Há um aspecto importante a melhorar é a resistência de prender as asas. O avião voa muito bem, é muito bonito e vem eletronicamente bem equipado. As baterias 4000 6s da cnhl permitem 7 minutos de voo sem forçar muito o voo acrobático. As rodas e a suspensão de enchimento são um ponto muito realista e que funciona. O valor está bom mas devido aos defeitos o valor de 300€ é o mais justo.
