5mm Bullet Interface and XT60 Output Lead
This shorty hardcase battery uses a 5mm bullet battery interface. The supplied output arrangement connects the battery to an XT60 vehicle-side power connection.
This differs from a softcase battery with an XT60 cable permanently attached to the battery itself. The modular hardcase arrangement allows the external lead to be routed according to the chassis layout.
If your vehicle uses EC3, IC3, EC5, IC5, T/Dean or another connector, XT60 does not connect directly. Use an appropriately rated lead, adapter or professional connector conversion.
LiHV Charging and Maximum Voltage
This is a 2S LiHV battery. When fully charged in LiHV mode, the pack reaches a maximum of 4.35V per cell, or 8.70V total.
The older 4.38V figure sometimes found in legacy battery descriptions should not be used as the charging target. Do not exceed 4.35V per cell.
A vehicle being described simply as “2S compatible” does not automatically confirm support for 8.70V. Some ESCs are designed around the 8.40V maximum voltage of a standard 2S LiPo battery.
If full LiHV support has not been confirmed, this battery can be balance charged to the standard LiPo limit of 4.20V per cell, or 8.40V total.
The 5C specification is the maximum charge rate. For routine charging, a balanced 1C charge rate is preferred when charging speed is not the priority.

Is this a full-length or shorty battery?
This is a shorty hardcase battery. Its 96mm length is substantially shorter than the approximately 139mm length commonly used by full-size hardcase packs.
Is this battery suitable for the HPI Stage D10?
It is a strong high-capacity shorty option for Stage D10 setups that can accommodate its 96 × 46 × 24mm dimensions. Compared with a lighter 4600mAh battery, it favors longer sessions and adds more chassis mass for tuning.
