Dual 3S Battery Setup for Traxxas Spartan and Spartan SR
The Traxxas Spartan and Spartan SR use two batteries, and a pair of matching 3S LiPo packs provides the full 6S power setup used for maximum performance. Two CNHL 5200mAh 3S batteries connected in series create a 22.2V nominal 6S 5200mAh system. Capacity remains 5200mAh because series wiring increases voltage, not capacity.
The 5200mAh capacity sits close to the 5000mAh-class 3S packs commonly used in these boats, while the 90C output provides substantial current capability for repeated launches and full-throttle running.
Each CNHL pack uses an EC5 plug, while the stock Traxxas system uses Traxxas High-Current / iD connectors. A properly rated EC5-to-TRX adapter or professional ESC-side connector conversion is therefore required.
Always run two batteries of the same model, capacity, age, condition and state of charge. Secure both packs firmly and keep battery wires clear of cooling lines, the driveshaft and other moving components.

Dual 3S Battery Option for ARRMA MOJAVE 6S V3 & EXB
Two matching CNHL Racing Series 5200mAh 11.1V 3S 90C batteries can be considered for a dual-3S MOJAVE setup. Connected in series, the pair provides the 22.2V nominal 6S power system used for full-performance running.
The main advantage of dual 3S is flexibility. Each battery can also be reused independently in other compatible 3S vehicles, while a dedicated single 6S pack is primarily useful in 6S applications.
There is one important physical-fit consideration with this particular battery: each pack is approximately 160mm long. The MOJAVE battery tray is designed around a large battery area, but this pack sits very close to the available length limit. Installation should therefore be physically checked rather than described as a guaranteed drop-in fit.
The EC5 connectors are physically compatible with the MOJAVE's IC5 main power connection for normal positive and negative power. These conventional EC5 packs do not provide Spektrum Smart battery data.

Traxxas TRX-4 3S Battery Option
This 5200mAh 3S battery can also be considered for compatible Traxxas TRX-4 configurations when the battery tray accepts its 160 × 45 × 28mm dimensions.
The larger 5200mAh capacity is oriented toward long trail sessions and extended crawling rather than minimum vehicle weight. Extra battery mass can change climbing balance, suspension response and the way the truck feels on side slopes, so placement matters.

EC5 and IC5 Connector Compatibility
EC5 and IC5 are physically compatible at the main power interface. This battery can connect to a corresponding IC5 device-side connector and provide normal positive and negative power.
This is not a Spektrum Smart battery. It does not provide automatic battery identification, Smart charging settings or battery telemetry through the additional IC5 data contact.
TRX, XT60, XT90, EC3, IC3 and other connector systems do not plug directly into EC5. Use a correctly rated adapter or professional connector conversion where required.

Is this a standard LiPo or LiHV battery?
This is a standard 3S LiPo battery. Its nominal voltage is 11.1V, and its maximum balanced charge voltage is 12.6V, or 4.20V per cell.
Can this battery be used in the Traxxas Spartan or Spartan SR?
Yes, as part of a matched dual-3S setup. Use two identical packs to create a 6S 5200mAh system. A properly rated EC5-to-TRX adapter or connector conversion is required for the stock Traxxas connection.
Does two 5200mAh batteries mean 10400mAh in a Spartan?
No. When the batteries are connected in series, voltage doubles to 6S while capacity remains 5200mAh.
Can I use two of these in the ARRMA MOJAVE 6S?
They can be considered as a dual-3S setup, but each pack is approximately 160mm long and sits very close to the MOJAVE battery tray length limit. Confirm physical fit, straps, wiring and body clearance before use.
