If you're looking for a lightweight and reliable battery upgrade for the Tamiya Wild Willy 2 (WR-02 chassis), the CNHL 2200mAh 7.4V 2S 30C LiPo is an excellent match. Its compact size makes it easier to fit into the WR-02’s narrow battery compartment compared with larger hard-case packs. This pack maintains the playful wheelie-friendly behavior the Wild Willy is known for, while offering more consistent voltage and better weight balance than older NiMH stick packs. Depending on your wiring setup, you may need a simple adapter when switching from the original Tamiya connector to the T/Dean plug. Most drivers use a small plug adapter, while others prefer to re-solder for the cleanest connection.

Notice:

  • For the RC battery, only if the voltage and the plug match, then it will fit.
  • Please stop charging immediately when the cell voltage has been charged to 4.2V (Normal cell voltage is between 3.7V~4.2V).
  • To double that it sure safe, please check first whether the battery surface is right when you get it and whether the voltage is normal before using.
  • If the new battery won’t hold a full charge or loses the charge very quickly in a short time, please use the Balance Charger to charge and recycle several times first.

This warranty covers original defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover normal wear and tear, puffing, swelling, over-disacharge, over-charge, improper storage, crash or water damage, connector changes, or any damage resulting from misuse or mishandling.

If you find that a battery purchased from us is defective within the 90-day warranty period, please get in touch with us to arrange a return for inspection. Based on our evaluation, we will usually repair, replace, or offer an appropriate solution at no additional charge.
