About the Lightning LiHV Series

The CNHL Lightning LiHV Series represents CNHL’s newest generation of high-performance LiHV batteries. These packs are built for applications that require both strong burst power and stable voltage delivery during aggressive acceleration.

LiHV chemistry allows the battery to be safely charged up to 4.35V per cell, slightly higher than traditional LiPo batteries. In practice this often results in improved throttle response and more consistent voltage under load during demanding driving sessions.

Applications

This 4S LiHV battery is commonly used in high-performance RC vehicles where both capacity and discharge capability matter. The combination of 7800mAh capacity and 120C output makes it suitable for speed-run setups, high-power bash trucks, and large scale RC platforms.

In many extreme RC builds, two 4S batteries are paired together to create an 8S configuration, delivering massive acceleration and sustained power.

What is the difference between LiHV and standard LiPo batteries?

LiHV batteries can be charged to 4.35V per cell, slightly higher than standard LiPo batteries. This allows a bit more voltage and often stronger punch under load.

Can two of these batteries be used for an 8S setup?

Yes. Many high-power RC vehicles connect two 4S batteries in series to create an 8S system.
