QS8 Connector Compatibility: What You Need to Know
QS8 is a different physical connector standard from EC5, IC5 and XT90. It cannot be plugged directly into these connectors. A vehicle with a factory IC5 or EC5 connection requires an appropriately specified connector conversion or a different battery equipped with the matching plug.
For high-current applications, connector and adapter selection must account for current demand, polarity, wire gauge, connection quality and heat. Do not force incompatible connectors together or assume a small adapter is suitable for an extreme-current setup.
