The ISDT C4 EVO is a versatile smart battery charger built for AA, AAA and cylindrical rechargeable cells from compact 10440 batteries all the way up to large 26700 cells. 6-Channel Smart Charging for AA, AAA and Cylindrical Batteries
The C4 EVO uses a six-channel charging architecture designed around multiple vertical and horizontal battery positions. Each channel can operate independently, allowing different supported battery types and tasks to be managed within the same charging session.
Actual simultaneous battery capacity depends on cell size and slot orientation. The charger supports up to four cylindrical batteries at a time in compatible combinations, including four AA or AAA cells, while the larger horizontal positions accommodate longer cylindrical cells.
From AAA and AA to 18650, 21700 and 26700 Cells
One of the strongest advantages of the ISDT C4 EVO is its unusually wide cylindrical battery size range. Supported sizes include:

Seven Battery Maintenance Modes in One Charger
The C4 EVO is designed not only for routine charging but also for ongoing battery maintenance and analysis. Available operating modes include:

Real-Time Battery Status and Internal Resistance Monitoring
The C4 EVO provides far more information than a simple battery-level indicator. During a task, the display can show battery chemistry, output voltage, current, charged or discharged capacity, operating time, voltage curve, internal resistance and temperature.
Individual channel status can be reviewed directly from the task preview interface, making it easier to compare cells and spot significant differences between batteries in the same set.

A full-color 320 × 240 IPS LCD provides a clear view of charging data and menu settings. The wide-view display makes voltage, current, capacity, time and task information easy to check at a glance whether the charger is sitting on a workbench or being used in a brighter environment.
USB-C QC and PD Input up to 36W
Power is supplied through the USB Type-C port with a 5–12V operating range and support for QC and PD protocols. Maximum input power is 36W, giving the C4 EVO a modern and convenient power interface without requiring a dedicated proprietary power supply.
The Type-C connection also serves as the firmware upgrade port, allowing the charger firmware to be updated through a computer when required.
Up to 3A Charging for Compatible Cylindrical Cells
Charging current depends on slot orientation. The horizontal channels support a selectable charging current from 0.1A to 3.0A, while the vertical channels support 0.1A to 1.5A. Discharge current is adjustable from 0.1A to 1.5A horizontally and 0.1A to 1.0A vertically.
Multiple Battery Protection Systems
The C4 EVO incorporates battery protection and monitoring functions designed to help reduce errors during charging and maintenance. Reverse-polarity protection is implemented differently depending on slot orientation, while overheating and over-capacity protection are also supported.
The charger continuously monitors operating conditions and displays warnings when a battery is inserted incorrectly or an abnormal condition is detected.

Important Battery Compatibility Note
The C4 EVO is intended for supported individual cylindrical rechargeable cells. It should not be confused with a conventional RC balance charger designed for complete multi-cell LiPo battery packs.
