Charging receives most of the attention in RC battery management, but storage voltage is also important. If a LiPo battery will not be used for an extended period, leaving it fully charged is generally not the preferred storage condition.

Many balance chargers include a storage function, but charger-based discharging can be relatively slow because their internal discharge circuits are often designed for much lower power than their charging circuits.
