Quick Fit Check
The 3 Packs CNHL MiniStar HV 450mAh 7.6V 2S 70C LiHV Battery with XT30U set includes three separate lightweight 2S LiHV batteries for micro FPV drones, compact CineWhoops and other small RC aircraft where low battery weight and responsive handling are priorities.
Each battery weighs approximately 32g and measures only 64 × 19 × 15mm, making this one of the lighter 450mAh-class options in the CNHL MiniStar range. The 70C continuous rating and XT30U connector make it particularly relevant to lightweight brushless 2S FPV platforms.
Before ordering, confirm that your model supports 2S voltage, accepts the battery dimensions and weight, uses an XT30U-compatible connection and can safely operate at the selected maximum charge voltage.

Three Separate 450mAh 2S LiHV Batteries
This package includes three independent 450mAh 2S LiHV batteries. It is not one 1350mAh battery.
Each pack remains 450mAh, 7.6V nominal and approximately 32g. The three-pack format is particularly useful for FPV practice because pilots can rotate through multiple batteries rather than immediately recharging the pack that has just landed.

Ultra-Light 450mAh 2S LiHV Power
The CNHL MiniStar HV 450mAh 2S 70C focuses on keeping battery weight low while retaining the higher nominal voltage of LiHV chemistry.
At approximately 32g per pack, it is lighter than many 450–550mAh-class 2S batteries. That makes it especially relevant to micro FPV platforms where only a few grams can noticeably change takeoff weight, momentum and direction-change response.
The 70C continuous and 140C burst ratings provide useful current capability for small brushless FPV power systems when the motors and ESC are correctly matched.
Why Choose This 3-Pack?
-
Three separate flight batteries: Useful for repeated practice sessions and back-to-back flights.
-
Only about 32g each: Particularly attractive for weight-sensitive micro FPV builds.
-
450mAh capacity: Prioritizes low takeoff weight over maximum cruising duration.
-
2S LiHV chemistry: Supports up to 8.70V full charge when the aircraft electronics allow it.
-
70C continuous output: Suitable for responsive small brushless power systems.
-
XT30U connector: Compact connection suited to lightweight FPV aircraft.
Compact 450mAh LiHV Battery for the iFlight Defender 20 Lite X
The CNHL MiniStar HV 450mAh 7.6V 2S 70C is a lightweight alternative to the approximately 520mAh battery class commonly associated with the iFlight Defender 20 Lite X.
Its smaller 450mAh capacity is particularly relevant to pilots who want to preserve the Defender's lightweight character and prioritize responsive handling over maximum flight duration.
At approximately 32g, this battery can reduce installed battery mass compared with larger 520–550mAh options. The tradeoff is less stored energy, so actual flight time will generally be shorter when flying conditions and throttle use are otherwise similar.
Before flying, verify the 64 × 19 × 15mm battery dimensions, XT30U connector polarity, wire clearance and secure mounting.
Compare lightweight 450mAh packs with 550mAh options closer to the original battery capacity in the Best Battery for iFlight Defender 20 Lite X Collection.
Micro FPV and CineWhoop Applications
Micro Brushless FPV Drones
The combination of approximately 32g weight and 450mAh capacity makes this pack particularly useful for small brushless FPV aircraft where battery mass has a noticeable effect on acceleration, braking and direction changes.
Lightweight 2-Inch CineWhoops
For compatible 2-inch CineWhoops, this pack favors lower takeoff weight and responsive handling rather than maximum cruising time. It is especially relevant when a 550–650mAh battery makes the aircraft feel heavier than desired.
Practice and Freestyle Builds
The three-pack format is convenient for daily FPV practice, while the 70C rating provides current headroom for repeated throttle changes in properly matched 2S freestyle builds.
Other Compatible 2S Applications
This battery may also suit compatible micro FPV aircraft, small airplanes and lightweight multirotor builds when they support 2S power and accept the battery dimensions, weight and XT30U connector.
Model names alone are not enough to confirm compatibility. Micro FPV aircraft are often sold in several voltage, motor and connector versions, so always check the actual configuration before installation.

The right choice depends on the aircraft rather than capacity alone. The 450mAh LiHV version favors minimum battery mass and LiHV capability, the standard 450mAh pack simplifies voltage management, and the 550mAh LiHV option provides more stored energy.
XT30U Connector
Each battery uses an XT30U output connector. XT30U belongs to the XT30 connector family and provides the main positive and negative power connection used by many lightweight FPV platforms.
Always confirm connector gender, polarity and physical fit before connection. Models using PH2.0, BT2.0, XT60, EC2, IC2, EC3, IC3 or another connector require a suitable adapter or professional connector conversion.
LiHV Charging and Voltage
This is a 2S LiHV battery. When using a compatible LiHV balance charger, the maximum full-charge voltage is 4.35V per cell, or 8.70V total.
Only use the full 8.70V charge when the complete aircraft electronics support the higher LiHV maximum voltage. A model described simply as “2S compatible” may have been designed around the standard LiPo maximum of 8.40V.
If full LiHV compatibility has not been confirmed, the pack can be charged to the standard LiPo limit of 4.20V per cell, or 8.40V total. This provides slightly less usable energy while keeping maximum voltage within the standard 2S LiPo range.
The 5C value is the maximum specified charge rate. A lower balanced charge rate is generally preferred for routine charging because it produces less heat and places less stress on the battery.

FAQ
How many batteries are included?
The package contains three separate CNHL MiniStar HV 450mAh 2S LiHV batteries.
Does three 450mAh batteries mean this is a 1350mAh pack?
No. Each battery remains an independent 450mAh 2S pack. They are normally charged and used separately.
Is this standard LiPo or LiHV?
This is a 2S LiHV battery with a nominal voltage of 7.6V. Maximum full-charge voltage is 8.70V when charged in LiHV mode.
Is this suitable for the iFlight Defender 20 Lite X?
It is a lightweight 450mAh option to consider when lower installed battery mass and responsive handling are more important than matching the approximately 520mAh reference capacity as closely as possible.
Why choose this instead of the 550mAh LiHV version?
The 450mAh pack is approximately 32g and prioritizes lower takeoff weight. The 550mAh option provides more energy reserve and sits closer to the Defender's reference battery capacity.
Can I charge this battery only to 8.40V?
Yes. A LiHV battery can be charged to the standard 2S LiPo limit of 8.40V when full LiHV voltage is not needed or has not been confirmed for the aircraft.
Is XT30U compatible with XT30?
XT30U belongs to the XT30 connector family and is intended for the same main positive and negative power interface. Always confirm connector gender, polarity and physical fit before connecting.
Should I always charge these packs at 5C?
No. The 5C value is the maximum specified charge rate. A lower balanced charge rate is generally preferred for routine charging.
Notice
