Quick Fit Check
The 3 Packs CNHL MiniStar HV 550mAh 7.6V 2S 70C LiHV Battery with XT30U set includes three separate lightweight batteries for micro FPV drones, small CineWhoops, compact aircraft and other 2S RC models that can use the slim 550mAh format.
Each battery weighs approximately 35g and measures only 66.5 × 16.5 × 15.5mm, making it particularly relevant to 60–130mm brushless FPV platforms and lightweight 2-inch builds where battery mass and mounting space have a direct effect on handling.
Before ordering, confirm the aircraft supports 2S power, accepts the battery dimensions and weight, uses an XT30U-compatible power connection and can safely operate at the selected maximum battery voltage.

Three Separate 550mAh 2S Flight Batteries
This product includes three individual 550mAh 2S LiHV batteries. It is not one 1650mAh battery pack.
Each battery is charged, installed and used independently. The three-pack format is especially useful for FPV pilots because it allows multiple consecutive flights without immediately recharging the battery that has just landed.

Lightweight 550mAh 2S LiHV Power for Micro FPV
The CNHL MiniStar HV 550mAh 2S 70C battery is designed around the requirements of lightweight FPV aircraft: low mass, compact dimensions and enough current capability for repeated throttle changes.
At approximately 35g, the pack stays within the weight class used by many small brushless FPV platforms. The 550mAh capacity provides more energy than many 300–450mAh micro packs while avoiding the larger size and mass of 650–850mAh batteries.
The 70C continuous and 140C burst ratings provide useful current headroom for 2S motors and small CineWhoop power systems when the complete aircraft is correctly matched.
Why Choose the 3-Pack Combo?
-
Three flight-ready batteries: More flying between charging sessions.
-
Only about 35g per battery: Suitable for lightweight micro FPV platforms.
-
550mAh capacity: A useful middle ground between ultra-light micro packs and larger 650–850mAh options.
-
70C continuous output: Supports responsive throttle changes in compatible 2S builds.
-
XT30U connector: Compact power connection suited to lightweight FPV systems.
-
LiHV capability: Can reach 8.70V when the complete aircraft power system supports full LiHV voltage.
A 550mAh 2S LiHV Option for the iFlight Defender 20 Lite X
The CNHL MiniStar HV 550mAh 7.6V 2S 70C sits very close to the approximately 520mAh battery capacity used as the reference setup for the iFlight Defender 20 Lite X.
This small capacity difference makes the 550mAh pack especially relevant to pilots who want slightly more stored energy while staying in essentially the same lightweight battery class.
The slim battery body and XT30U connection also fit the general design direction of a lightweight 2-inch FPV platform. However, battery selection should still account for physical dimensions, wire position, retention and final takeoff weight.
Because this battery is LiHV, full charging raises the pack to 8.70V. Confirm that the Defender electronics support this maximum voltage before using full LiHV charge mode. Where full LiHV voltage has not been confirmed, charging to the standard 2S LiPo limit of 8.40V provides a more conservative option.

Micro FPV and CineWhoop Applications
60–130mm Brushless FPV Drones
The combination of a 35g battery weight and 550mAh capacity makes this pack especially relevant to compact brushless FPV builds where a larger battery would noticeably change the aircraft's handling.
2-Inch CineWhoops
For compatible lightweight 2-inch CineWhoops, the 550mAh capacity provides a useful balance between energy reserve and installed mass. Smaller packs can produce a more agile feel, while 550mAh often favors slightly longer cruising and smoother momentum.
Micro Freestyle Builds
The 70C discharge specification makes the pack relevant to small freestyle aircraft that need rapid throttle response but do not require the weight or capacity of a substantially larger battery.
Legacy and Other Compatible 2S Applications
This battery may also suit compatible compact aircraft and FPV platforms such as GEPRC TinyGo, iFlight CineBee, TurboBee, Happymodel Crux3, BETAFPV Beta75X and Beta75 Pro when their specific configuration supports 2S operation and accepts the battery dimensions, weight and XT30U connection.
Older FPV models can vary significantly in connector, battery mount and electronic configuration, so compatibility should be confirmed from the actual aircraft rather than the model name alone.
The pack may also be considered for selected small helicopters, park flyers and other lightweight RC models designed around 2S power. Models using a different connector require an appropriately rated adapter or connector conversion.

The better battery depends on the aircraft and flight style. More capacity does not automatically mean a better setup if the added mass negatively affects handling.
XT30U Connector
Each battery includes an XT30U output connector. It connects to a corresponding XT30U-compatible device-side power lead when polarity and connector orientation are correct.
Models using PH2.0, BT2.0, XT60, EC2, IC2, EC3, IC3 or another connector require a suitable adapter or professional connector conversion.
Do not assume two small RC models use the same connector simply because they both operate on 2S.
LiHV Charging and Voltage
This is a 2S LiHV battery. A dedicated LiHV balance charger can charge it to a maximum of 4.35V per cell, or 8.70V total.
Full LiHV charging should only be used when the complete aircraft electronics support the higher maximum voltage. A model described only as “2S compatible” may have been designed around the 8.40V maximum of a standard 2S LiPo battery.
When full LiHV compatibility is uncertain, this battery can be charged to the standard LiPo limit of 4.20V per cell, or 8.40V total. The pack will provide slightly less usable energy but avoids exposing unconfirmed electronics to the higher LiHV maximum voltage.
The 5C specification is the maximum charge rate. A lower balanced charge rate is generally preferred for routine charging because it produces less heat and places less stress on the cells.

FAQ
How many batteries are included?
The package includes three separate CNHL MiniStar HV 550mAh 2S batteries. Each battery has its own XT30U output connector and balance lead.
Is this a 1650mAh battery pack?
No. The product contains three independent 550mAh batteries. Each battery remains 550mAh and is normally used and charged separately.
Is this standard LiPo or LiHV?
This is a 2S LiHV battery with a nominal voltage of 7.6V. It can be charged to 8.70V in LiHV mode when the aircraft electronics support the higher maximum voltage.
Is 550mAh suitable for the iFlight Defender 20 Lite X?
It is a practical capacity option because it remains close to the approximately 520mAh reference battery class. Confirm the battery dimensions, mounting and maximum supported voltage before flying.
Can I charge this battery only to 8.40V?
Yes. Charging the LiHV pack to the standard 2S LiPo limit of 8.40V is possible when full 8.70V LiHV voltage is not required or has not been confirmed for the aircraft.
Is XT30U compatible with XT30?
XT30U belongs to the XT30 connector family and is used for the same main positive and negative power connection. Always confirm connector gender, polarity and physical fit before connecting the battery.
Should these batteries always be charged at 5C?
No. The 5C value is the maximum specified charge rate, not the required everyday rate. A lower balance-charge rate is generally preferred for routine charging.
