Lightweight 450mAh 2S Power for Micro FPV
The CNHL MiniStar 450mAh 2S 70C battery is designed for pilots who prioritize low takeoff weight, responsive handling and compact installation.
At approximately 35g, this battery keeps installed mass low enough for many micro FPV platforms while still providing more usable capacity than very small 300–350mAh packs.
The 70C continuous and 140C burst ratings provide current headroom for rapid throttle changes, altitude corrections and light freestyle flying when the complete power system is correctly matched.
Why Choose This Battery?
-
450mAh capacity: Keeps battery mass conservative for lightweight micro FPV platforms.
-
Approx. 35g weight: Helps preserve responsive handling and lower takeoff weight.
-
Compact 65mm length: Suitable for tight battery mounts and small frames.
-
70C continuous output: Supports rapid throttle changes in compatible 2S builds.
-
XT30U connector: Compact power connection suited to micro FPV systems.
-
Standard LiPo chemistry: Charges to 8.40V and does not require LiHV charging mode.
Lightweight 2S Battery Choice for the iFlight Defender 20 Lite X
For pilots who want to keep battery capacity and weight conservative, the CNHL MiniStar 450mAh 7.4V 2S 70C is a lightweight standard-LiPo option to consider for the iFlight Defender 20 Lite X.
Its 450mAh capacity sits below the approximately 520mAh reference battery class, making this pack especially relevant when lower installed mass and responsive handling are more important than maximizing flight time.
A lower-capacity battery can reduce the amount of energy carried by the aircraft and may help preserve a lighter, more immediate feel during direction changes. The tradeoff is reduced flight duration compared with a 520–550mAh pack.
The battery uses an XT30U connector and remains within the general 2S battery format used by compact FPV platforms. Confirm battery dimensions, connector polarity, strap security, wire clearance and final takeoff weight before flight.
Compare this pack with other iFlight Defender 20 Lite X 2S battery options to choose the capacity that best matches your flying style.
Micro FPV and CineWhoop Applications
60–130mm Brushless FPV Drones
The 450mAh capacity and approximately 35g weight make this battery especially relevant to small brushless FPV aircraft that become noticeably less responsive when fitted with a larger pack.
2-Inch CineWhoops
For compatible lightweight 2-inch CineWhoops, a 450mAh pack favors lower takeoff weight and quicker changes in direction compared with a larger battery. It is a strong direction for pilots who prioritize handling over maximum cruising time.
Micro Freestyle Builds
The 70C discharge specification supports responsive throttle inputs in small freestyle builds where the motor and ESC system are designed around 2S operation.
Other Compatible 2S FPV Platforms
This battery may also suit compatible configurations of GEPRC TinyGo, iFlight CineBee, TurboBee, Happymodel Crux3 and similar micro FPV aircraft when the specific model version supports 2S operation and accepts the battery dimensions, weight and XT30U connection.
Older micro FPV platforms can vary significantly in connector type, battery mounting and electronic configuration, so compatibility should be checked from the actual aircraft rather than the model name alone.
The same applies to DJI O4-equipped micro builds: the video system alone does not determine battery compatibility. The frame, motors, ESC, voltage range and complete takeoff weight must all support the selected 2S battery.

The 450mAh pack is the simpler choice when the aircraft is designed around conventional 2S voltage and lower capacity is acceptable. The 550mAh LiHV pack offers more stored energy but requires additional attention to the maximum voltage supported by the aircraft electronics.
XT30U Connector
This battery includes an XT30U output connector. It connects to a corresponding XT30U-compatible device-side power lead when polarity and connector orientation are correct.
XT30U belongs to the XT30 connector family, but always confirm connector gender, polarity and physical fit before connection.
Models using PH2.0, BT2.0, XT60, EC2, IC2, EC3, IC3 or another connector require a suitable adapter or professional connector conversion.
Standard 2S LiPo Charging
This is a standard 2S LiPo battery. Its maximum balanced charge voltage is 4.20V per cell, or 8.40V total.
Do not charge this battery using a 4.35V-per-cell LiHV setting. Use a compatible LiPo balance charger and select the correct 2S standard LiPo mode.
The 5C value is the maximum specified charge rate. A lower balance-charge rate is generally preferred for routine charging because it produces less heat and places less stress on the cells.

FAQ
Is this a standard LiPo or LiHV battery?
This is a standard 2S LiPo battery with a nominal voltage of 7.4V and a fully charged voltage of 8.40V.
Is 450mAh suitable for the iFlight Defender 20 Lite X?
It is a lightweight option to consider when lower installed mass and responsive handling are more important than maximizing flight time. Its capacity is below the approximately 520mAh reference battery class.
Why choose 450mAh instead of 550mAh?
A 450mAh battery carries less energy and can favor a lighter, more responsive setup. A 550mAh battery offers more energy reserve and can be preferable for longer cruising when the aircraft comfortably supports it.
Can I charge this pack to 8.70V?
No. This is a standard LiPo battery, not LiHV. Maximum balanced charge voltage is 8.40V total, or 4.20V per cell.
Is XT30U compatible with XT30?
XT30U belongs to the XT30 connector family and is used for the same main positive and negative power connection. Always confirm connector gender, polarity and physical fit before use.
Can it be used with DJI O4 micro FPV builds?
Yes, when the complete aircraft—not only the video system—is designed for standard 2S operation and can accommodate the battery dimensions, weight and XT30U connection.
Should this battery always be charged at 5C?
No. The 5C value is the maximum specified charge rate, not the required everyday rate. A lower balance-charge rate is generally preferred for routine charging.
