The CNHL 5000mAh 7.4V 2S LiPo battery 40C with XT90 plug is aimed at Stampede 2WD XL-5 drivers who want maximum runtime from a single pack. This capacity works well for longer grass runs, wide open areas, and extended bashing sessions where stopping to swap batteries breaks the flow.

Due to the larger size and weight compared to 3200mAh and 4000mAh packs, this option favors runtime over agility. It’s best suited for drivers who are already comfortable with the truck’s handling and want longer sessions rather than a lighter, more playful feel.

The XL-5 ESC uses a Traxxas High-Current connector, so an XT90-to-Traxxas adapter is required for plug-and-play use. Using an adapter keeps the wiring intact and avoids permanent modifications.
